Most people walk into Ammu-Nation and panic-buy whatever looks cool, then wonder why they're always reloading at the worst moment. I've done it too. If you're trying to build a loadout that actually works through story missions and random street chaos, start by planning around what you'll use every ten seconds, not what you'll use once in a big heist. That's also why a lot of players look at stuff like GTA 5 Modded Accounts in the first place—because wasting cash on the wrong toys hurts more than getting clipped by a stray NPC.
Everyday carry that won't let you downFirst up, the AP Pistol. It's cheap, it's fast, and it bails you out when your "plan" turns into sprinting between cars. You can pick it up after "Three's Company," and it's worth upgrading right away—extended mag and accuracy make it feel like a mini-SMG you can run while driving or sliding into cover. Second, keep the Stun Gun in mind for when you don't want half the block lighting up. Michael gets access during "Monkey Business," and it drops targets instantly if you land the shot. The catch is the reload. It's slow enough that you can't spam it, so you've got to pick the right moment, hit, then move.
Your main rifle for most fightsThird, grab the Special Carbine once "The Jewel Store Job" is done. This is the rifle I end up sticking with even when I've got flashier stuff unlocked, because it behaves. The recoil's manageable, it works indoors, and it still holds up on mid-range streets where enemies love to peek from behind doors and fences. Thirty rounds is the sweet spot too—you're not constantly counting bullets, but you're also not burning ammo like a maniac. Buy it, upgrade it, and you'll stop feeling like every gunfight is a coin toss.
Explosives and crowd control when it all goes sidewaysFourth, once "Trevor Phillips Industries" is wrapped, the Grenade Launcher is a smart spend. It's not subtle, but it's brilliant for wrecking cars that block your escape or knocking a police chopper out of your day. Just don't get careless with the limited ammo. Fifth, after "Blitz Play," the Rocket Launcher is the cleaner answer to armored problems. If something's heavy, distant, or about to ram you, rockets end the conversation fast.
Endgame toys and when they're worth itSixth, the Minigun unlocks after "The Paleto Score," and yeah, it turns crowds into confetti—great for panic moments and clearing light vehicles, not so great if you think it's a tank solution. Seventh, the Railgun opens up after "Minor Turbulence," and it's pricey for a reason: you point, you click, the damage arrives instantly. If you'd rather skip the grind and still have money left for ammo and upgrades, hunting for cheap GTA 5 Accounts can be tempting, especially when you're trying to lock in a full loadout without bankrupting your heist earnings.
